Outcomes

This seminar provides a preview of features in IBM Lotus Notes and Domino 6. After attending this seminar, participants should be able to articulate the technical and business benefits that adopting Lotus Notes and Domino 6 can provide to their organizations. They should also be able to begin the process of planning for the adoption of Notes and Domino 6 by their organization.

Prerequisites

Experience working in an existing Lotus Notes/Domino environment. Experience could include: planning and rolling out a Domino infrastructure planning and developing Domino applications deploying Domino applications

What should you be familiar with?

Personnel who want to begin the process of analyzing the impact of Lotus Notes and Domino 6 on their organizations. These personnel can include system or IT architects, application developers, systems administrators or other personnel; and they either provide input to the decision, or actually make the decision, to move a company or business unit from Lotus Notes and Domino V4.x/R5 to Notes and Domino 6. Whatever their titles and roles, these individuals have varying levels of technical and managerial responsibility, depending on the size of their organization and the complexity of their Notes/Domino environment.
